Leo Chip Plowman has extensive Criminal Defense experience and has tried more than 130 felony cases including first degree murder. This is a tremendous benefit, as his significant trial experience has carried over into his family law practice. Most family law attorneys do not like to go to trial because of their lack of trial experience, Chip enjoys going to trial and fighting for my clients. Leo "Chip" M. Plowman Jr. was born in Tennessee but has lived in Arizona most of his life.

From 1969-1972 he served in the United States Air Force as a Documentary Photographer, traveling the States and many parts of the World shooting training and newsreel footage and films.

From 1976-1977 he was a Caddy on the PGA Tour for Calvin Peete.

Chip has been a Competitive Amateur Golfer for 40 years, competing in the 1993 US Amateur Public Links and the 1993 Pacific Coast Amateur. Also in 1993 he was named to the Goldwater Cup Team.

From 1997 to 2005 he was a member of the Tucson Greens Committee of which from 1999 to 2001 he served as Chairman.

From 1985 to present he has been a Statistician for the University of Arizona Football.

From 1985-1993 and 1996 -2007 he was a Statistician for the University of Arizona Basketball.

Chip enjoys life and the practice of law. He is in the Business of getting Results! In the Court Room he understands the process and will not waste time. He is very Dynamic and aggressive and will Fight! He is also has a great ability and talent to Listen to his clients which translates into results.

Chip believes he has a "healthy fear" of the legal process that translates into being very thorough in his performance. He said "you have to be humble enough to not over look the smallest detail".
